Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Karol ~

Sounds like you have a lot to celebrate around the Christmas holidays! We always visit family in Orlando during the Christmas holidays and of course spending time at Disney is a must do for us. You are correct, the crowd levels are high that time of the year and with great reason . . . the parks are even more magical with all of the holiday excitement taking place.

I always plan to arrive on property early so that I can park and make my way to the park gates at or right after opening. That way we can get a little jump on the day before it gets really crowded. This is even more important if you are planning to visit a park on a day that has morning Extra Magic Hours since Guests staying in a Disney World Resort Hotel will have access to the park before you do.

Here are some other tips that I think would help you before and during your trip:

    * Use the Disney Parks Moms Panel - we'll help you with all of your planning questions.
    * Guests staying off property who purchase tickets in advance and link them to their My Disney Experience accounts can take advantage of Disney's complimentary FastPass+ (FP+) service and make FP+ selections in advance.
    * Make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs). These can be made be made up to 180 days prior to your trip. You can make reservations through the link provided or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
    * Select your 3 "must dos" in the parks you're visiting and do those first.
    * Unless you have ADRs, plan to eat lunch and dinner earlier than usual. This will help you avoid some of the crowds.
    * Bring your own water and snacks to avoid waiting in line for them.
    * Go with the mindset that it is going to be crowded, take a deep breath, and roll with the flow.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
