I'm planning on bringing my family to visit Sept 17-22. I have looked to see when all the parades and fireworks shows are every day that we are there. What are the best nights/times to go to the shows? Are certain days busier than others?

    Hi Amanda,

I just took a peek at the independent website touringplans.com's Crowd Calendar for you. You have chosen an EXCELLENT week to visit Walt Disney World. This is overall one of the least busy weeks of the entire year. You should have no problems at all with any of the shows or parades. As a rule of thumb, if there are two shows or fireworks, the later of the two will be less crowded, but you're going at such a great time that this shouldn't be an issue for you.

One thing that you should be aware of is the possibility of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party interfering with your viewing of the evening fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. While the official MNSSHP dates have not yet been announced, many Disney fan sites are predicting that the party will be held on Sept 18 and 21. If you have party tickets, you can see the special Hallowishes fireworks on those nights. If you aren't going to the party, you should be sure to see the regular Wishes presentation on one of the other nights of your vacation.

Have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World!
