I’m planing a week trip for January 2020. I’ve decided that it’s be a better option for me to get an annual pass. Will I still be able to book my fastpass 60 days in advance without picking up the ticket in person? I plan to stay at the resort as well.

    Hi Melis,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about your visit to Walt Disney World Resort in January 2020!

I’ve been a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder for well over a decade now, so I completely understand the desire to purchase an Annual Pass. Based on my experience, you will absolutely be able to make your FastPass+ selections at your 60-Day mark (if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel), even if your pass hasn’t been “activated” by visiting a Theme Park.

All you need to do is make sure that, when you purchase your Theme Park Ticket, that you link it to your My Disney Experience account. Then, when your FastPass+ selection window opens up, you should be able to make your selections for your entire trip.

If you run into any technical difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact Walt Disney World Resort, specifically the My Disney Experience help line. They’ll be happy to help you “untangle” your vacation plans!

And please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
