I'm planing our first wdw trip. . We our a family of 4. We are looking into the deluxe Disney dining plan. We want to do as much character dine, and fine dine too. Would you say this is the way to go? Also do they have different menu?

    Hi there Dersiree.

Congratulations on your family's First Trip to Walt Disney World!
If you have plans to enjoy some of the best dining locations and would also like to take advantage of as much Character Dining as you possibly can, then choosing the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan is definitely the way to go!

Dining Plan credits are allocated based on the number of nights of resort stay in your Magic Your Way Package. With the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, each guest in your party has 3 Meals per night of stay, 2 snacks per night plus a Resort Refillable beverage mug. The total credits per person are 'pooled' into your account allowing you the flexibility to use the credits as you wish, at your choice of Table Service OR Quick Service Dining! Disney's Signature Dining locations use 2 Credits per person, as do Dinner Shows. Most Character Dining experiences use just 1 Credit per person.

To make the most of your plan, try to plan for at least 2 Table Service Meals daily (I usually plan for Quick Service at lunch time - and pre-book my family's breakfasts and dinners well in advance). When opting for a 'Signature' meal, use Snack Credits that day for a casual breakfast and your choice of a Table Service or Quick Service Lunch.

Did you know that you can even enjoy an adult night of Signature Dining while your kids enjoy one of the resort's Children's Activity Centers?' If you'd like more information about the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan or recommendations for your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to write me back Dersiree. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
