Hi, Im organising my 1st trip to Walt Disney in October. We are planning on spending a day at each of the Theme Parks as well as the 2 water parks (so 6 days in total). Can you please advise the best ticket to buy to get access to the water parks? Thanks!!

    Hello Brooke,

Congratulations! There's something extra magical about a first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!  My family's first walk down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park is one of my most treasured memories! You must be so excited!

October is a great time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is beautiful; it's still warm but much more comfortable than the high heat and humidity of the summer months. You may even want to pack a jacket or sweatshirt for cool mornings and evenings. My suggestion would be to purchase the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More Options. Your family will be able to enjoy Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park at any time during your visit. The Water Parks usually open later and close earlier than the Theme Parks so having the Park Hopper will allow you to visit the Theme Parks on the same day that you visit the Water Parks should you choose. Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More Options also gives you access to DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and more.

I also recommend purchasing Disney Memory Maker in advance. It's a great way to have the entire family captured in all of your vacation photos. All photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers are included, as well as Attraction Photos and Videos, Magic Shots, and Dining Photos.

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
