Im just not understanding the fast pass reservations, how long should I book in between and are they like 10-11 or can I choose 1030-1130 , like if I book one at 1130, should I book another at 1230 or 1 if I can book at those times

    Hi Leann!

I completely understand your confusion of the Disney FastPass+ System if you have never done this part of the planning before. Once you get the hang of it you will see what a great tool it is to making your days in the parks stress free.

Resort guests can make a FastPass reservation from 60 days before arrivals and it is suggested you do that as quickly as possible to make sure you get one for all of your desired attractions. Some of the more popular ones book up quickly.

Each FastPass is good for one hour of time. You can select the time you wish to book or the approximate time. Once you have done this they will show you several choices that come as close to your request as possible. It will be in a one hour block so it might be from 9:30-10:30 or it might be from 9:55-10:55 and so on. When you go to select your next FastPass it must not begin until the first time block is done. If your first one is from 9:30-10:30 then your second FastPass can begin at 10:30 and will go until 11:30.

You can book three FastPasses in a row or build some time in between them. That decision is up to you and what you hope to do in the park that day. I will usually head to the parks early and do a few of the attractions when the lines are shorter. My FastPasses will then start mid morning and I might do two of them and then make a break for lunch. After lunch I finish it with my third and then see if there is another available once the initial three are used. You can do this at any FastPass kiosk in the parks.

Think about what time you wish to arrive at the park, what time you would like to start your FastPasses, and then consider a lunch break. There is no right or wrong with timing and it is an individual decision. Some families wish to visit with characters which means standing in lines so they build a time in during the day for this activity.
