I’m not very tech savvy and needed to know if I can download my photos from the memory maker or photo pass to my phone?

Hey, Amanda! I have some picture perfect information to share with you about your vacation photos! Honestly, no huge tech skills are needed to purchase and download Disney PhotoPass pictures or to use the Memory Maker product. As Mary Poppins said, "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and SNAP! The job's a game!" Well, I have just the spoonful of sugar for you that will make this computer work a game.

You absolutely can use your mobile phone to download your Disney PhotoPass pictures. However, I do want to caution you that the picture files are quite large, so you may really want to download them to your computer. This is especially true if you took a lot of photos! Let's start with directions on the My Disney Experience mobile app. When you open the app, scroll down to find a section with your pictures and click the My Photos button. All of your Disney PhotoPass pictures will appear. All you have to do is click one to open it and then click Save to download it. If you would like to Edit it by using the crop tool or adding stickers, be sure to do that first! Now, wasn't that easy?

The problem with using the mobile app is that if you have a lot of pictures, then it's going to take a while to download each one. Also, there's that file size issue! So, hop on your computer and go to the Disney PhotoPass website. Once you sign on and your pictures appear, follow the directions I gave in this previous answer to download all of your pictures. After all of the compressed files download to your computer, you will have to "unzip" them. Some computer systems do this differently, but the easiest way to tell you is to locate the files where you told the computer to save them, use your mouse to right click on the file, and choose to Extract All. Your computer system will then pull all of the pictures out of the file and allow you to save them to your hard drive.

If you need any specific help with this, feel free to stop by and drop me a line with some more information! I would love to help make sure you get to enjoy your photos!
