Hi Moms! I'm not sure if you'll know the answer to my question, but here goes: I've been looking into joining the Disney Vacation Club. I was wondering, can you use vacation points to stay at Disney resorts that aren't villas? I just can't find the answer!

Hi Katie, My husband and I are Disney Vacation Club members.

DVC points are able to be used for most regular Disney Resorts (excluding the Value Resorts). However there are a few things to be aware of. You would need to pay a $95 exchange fee. Also, it takes a considerable amount more points to stay in a regular Resort than a DVC Villa. In addition, Villa's are a lot bigger than a regular Hotel room. It ends up being much more practical to use your points to stay in a Disney Vacation Club Villa.

Joining Disney's Vacation Club was one of the best decisions we've made, as it will ensure our family a lifetime of Disney memories. To us, that is priceless.

Hope this helps with your decision making.
