If I'm not staying at a resort (one day trip), where can I park for Animal Kingdom? I'm having a hard time finding an exact address to put in my GPS. Thank you!

    Hi Robin,

One of the many awesome things about living in Florida is proximity to Walt Disney World! My family loves being close enough to the theme parks to pop in for a day.

You will find ample, easily accessible parking at Disney's Animal Kingdom, within a quick walk or tram ride to the park entrance. The standard parking fee currently is $20.

I simply put "Disney's Animal Kingdom" into my navigation app for directions (or, in my case, to check traffic since I go often and know the way). The address it shows is 2901 Osceola Pkwy. If you are having problems finding Animal Kingdom in your GPS, I would simply put Walt Disney World resort into the GPS. Once you are on Interstate 4 in the vicinity, it's really easy to follow the signs to the specific parks.

I'm not sure when you are planning to visit, but if it is after May 26, you'll be able to experience the newest land at Animal Kingdom: Pandora -- The World of Avatar, which opens May 27. I've seen some preview pictures and can't wait to ride a banshee and float through a bioluminescent rainforest. The food at the new Satu'li Canteen looks really interesting, too.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Robin. Please let us know if we can help in any other way. Enjoy your visit to Animal Kingdom!
