Hi. Im a mother of four planning to visit disney world the week before christmas. Can you suggest the best place to stay as far as staying at a resort that has a villa type room or suite since we would all like to stay in the same room?

    Hi Kelly,

Disney has several accommodation options for larger families. These include:

    - Two rooms with a connecting door between. Available at any resort.
    - A family suite. Available at the All Star Music and Art of Animation resorts.
    - A one or two bedroom villa. Available at Bay Lake Tower, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Old Key West, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and Saratoga Springs resorts.
    - A cabin at Fort Wilderness.

Of these options, two rooms at a value resort will likely be the least expensive way to go.

Staying at a family suite will get you the addition of a kitchenette with microwave. The All Star suites will be less expensive, but the AoA suites will feel newer and more luxurious.

The villas will get you a full kitchen, but will probably be the most expensive option.

The cabins also have a full kitchen and are priced comparably to the family suites.

My family of five typically stays at either the Beach Club villas, Bay Lake Tower villas, or Wilderness Lodge villas. These are all in great locations with wonderful resort amenities.

Please write back and let us know if you need more details about any of these situations. We're happy to help.
