    Keri from NY Asked

I'm a Mom of 3 and I have epilepsy, and I do get tired on long days. But I don't want my kids to miss any fun time. Any ideas?

    Hi there, Keri!

Long days are certainly a concern for a lot of people visiting Walt Disney World, but there are certainly things we can talk about that will help you make the most of the time you are comfortable, so the kids don't miss any of the fun things they want to do.

First, make sure you are using your FastPass+ attraction selections. Included with the price of your theme park ticket, guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel can make up to three initial FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance - 30 if you aren't a resort guest. This gives you shorter wait times at the attractions you choose. Once you've used all three, you can add others, one at a time.

Another thing to look into is the Disability Access Services offering. You go to Guest Services as soon as you arrive at your first theme park, and they can get you set up for the length of your stay. The card works very similarly to the FastPass+. The cast member at an attraction you want to go on will give you a return time that mimics the attraction's current wait time. That allows you to go rest in a shady area or an air conditioned shop until it's time to go back.

There are also wheelchair and electronic convenience vehicles available for rent. This might help you to extend your day. Also, look at traveling in cooler weather. I know the heat makes me very tired.

Have a wonderfully magical time with your children, Keri!
