I'm looking into visiting WDW between the week of New Years Eve with my 2.5 year old son. I know it is a very busy time of year. Is it worth it to take a 2 year old during such a busy time of year?

    Hi, Kristina!

Not only is it worth it to bring your toddler to the Walt Disney World Resort during this busy time of the year, it's a completely magical experience that you'll remember for a lifetime! With a little bit of planning ahead, you can

First, I'd recommend taking a look at the preschool planning section of the Walt Disney World website. There are lots of fantastic tips and recommendations there including a sample itinerary and recommended Attractions for your little one.

Next, if you haven't already set up a My Disney Experience account, you'll want to do that so you can make some FastPass+ selections prior to your vacation. If you've got some of your favorites scheduled, you can rest assured that you'll be able to experience those things without having to wait in the standby line with your little one. Also, you can make Advanced Dining Reservations within My Disney Experience! You may have to keep trying to find certain locations as reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance so you'll find that many locations are full already.

Last, but in my opinion, most importantly, take the time to really experience the magic of the Holiday Season in a pace that will not be stressful to you or your kiddo. You don't have to see and do everything to have a completely magical experience. I find that if I just take it slow with no worries, I'm really able to have a great time even when crowds are high.

I hope this helps with your decision, Kristina! Please let us know if we can help with anything else!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted Holiday Season!
