I'm looking to do something special for my husband during our next Disney trip. I'm thinking about something away from the "kids stuff". Do you have any recommendations? He is athletic and likes to be challenged and have fun!

A couple of years ago my husband and I indulged in a date day while our oldest daughter kept watch over her siblings.  It was so much fun!  We, too, are the adventurous type.  For our time alone, we chose to do a Segway tour at Epcot.  The particular tour we took part in is no longer available, but there is a Wilderness Back Trail Adventure at Fort Wilderness as well as an Around the World at Epcot tour that might be of interest.  Both utilize Segways.  If you think your husband would be happier on his own two feet, you might consider the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom.  I've not had the chance to take part yet, but I hear great things from friends who've done it.  Lastly, you might consider a parasailing or other watersport adventure from the Sammy Duvall Watersports Centre at the marina of Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Whichever you choose, enjoy your time away from the kiddos!
