    Emily from OH Asked

Hello! I'm looking at planning a trip for myself, husband and 7 year old daughter. I've been looking at travelling around late April-early May during Easter break. Is this time of year super crowded? Thanks so much!!

    Welcome Emily ~

I've been visiting the Walt Disney World Resort since it opened and I've been there during every season. In my experience, Easter is a super popular time to visit. However, just because there are a lot of other Guests there, doesn't mean you can't have a lot fun. Just know that before you go.

Here are some things I recommend when traveling during a peak season like Easter:
    * Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to have access to Extra Magic Hours.
    * Purchase your theme park tickets in advance so that you can make Disney FastPass+ service selections prior to your trip. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can start making FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance.
    * Make Advanced Dining Reservations. These can be made be made up to 180 days prior to your trip. You can make reservations through the link I've provided or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
    * Download the My Disney Experience mobile app so that you can make or modify plans on the go.
    * Get an early start each morning and take a break in the afternoon.
    * Select your 3 "must dos" in each theme park you plan to visit and make those your priority.
    * Bring your own water and snacks to avoid waiting in line for them.
    * Plan to eat an early lunch and dinner to avoid the crowds.
    * Make a fireworks dessert party reservation one night to see Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom. You'll get a great view of the fireworks without waiting for hours to get a good spot and you get some yummy desserts while you wait.

Please feel free to visit us again with all your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
