I'm looking to plan a trip for my family. do you have any tips on planning the most affordable, budget friendly trip for a family of four?

    Hi Ashley!

Thanks for sending me this great question! Being a family of five myself, budgeting is very important when planning a vacation. I always start by selecting travel dates during the value season, which tend to be the dates that don't coincide with a holiday, spring break or summer vacation. You will find that the resort prices are lower during that time and can really be a money saver! With over 20 resorts, there are so many different options for a family of 4! The Disney Resorts are divided in to 3 different categories: Value, Moderate and Deluxe. If you are looking to save money, you want to focus on the Value Resorts. My family's favorites are Pop Century and Disney's Art of Animation. You can view the different resorts by visiting this page: Disney Resort Hotels. Once you have an idea of which resort you would like, I would recommend that you search for special offers on resort stays. You can find those by visiting this page: Special Offers and Deals. Currently, there is an offer for free dining when booking a vacation package (room and park tickets) on select dates through December of this year. A free dining plan is a real money saver as you would have practically all your meals covered and wouldn't have to come out of pocket for food!

Did you know?: Staying at a Disney Resort comes with lots of benefits. One of my favorites is the complimentary transportation from Orlando International Airport aboard Disney's Magical Express! Be sure to check it out!

It has been a pleasure assisting you! Please feel free to send in any other questions you may have.
