I’m looking for dining recommendations at Disney World for lunch and supper table-service meals. What are the “must go” restaurants with a 2- and a 5-year old?

    Hi Lisa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Over the last few years Dining at Walt Disney World Resort has become an activity of it's own. I like to say that Disney is now an Eat park, too! My son just turned three, and earlier this year some of my mom-friends and I took a friend vacation with our collective five preschoolers. While you cannot go wrong with any Character Dining location, one great tip I picked up is to schedule a late breakfast at the locations that aren't open for lunch. We went to 'Ohana at 11:30 A.M. one day; the restaurant was almost empty, which gave our table more character interactions!

Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's are the quintessential reservations most people think of when they start to resEARch their dining options. The Garden Grill Restaurant in Epcot is great because it's a Character meal but also the dining room slowly revolves through scenes of the Living With the Land attraction. I also love Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios. The theming is truly Disney brilliant, and the car booths make for some really cute photos. Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot is amazing because you're dining around the largest aquarium in Florida. And Teppan Edo, also in Epcot, is really fun because your dinner is cooked hibachi style right in front of you. It's like dinner and a show!

For non-park locations, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is a delicious throwback of yesteryear where it's also fun to watch fellow diners try to finish the massive Kitchen Sink sundae. The servers at Whispering Canyon Cafe have a bunch of playful antics up their sleeves. And you'll have a dino-mite fun time at T-Rex at Disney Springs.

I hope this helped, Lisa, and We'll See You Real Soon!
