I’m looking at booking a 4 day cruise (our 1st cruise) to the Bahama’s in April, I’m a widow traveling with my daughter. Will the Magical Bus take me to and from Orlando airport ?

    Welcome aboard, Elizabeth!

I've taken each of my children on a solo "Mommy and Me" trip with Disney Cruise Line, and they have been so magical. I love having that one-on-one time with them away from the regular distractions of the world. You and your daughter will create the most beautiful memories as you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew!

I'm guessing you'll be sailing on the Disney Dream out of Port Canaveral. You're going to love every moment of this trip! Disney does offer optional ground transfers between the Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral for guests cruising with Disney. There is an additional cost to the transfers, as it's different than Disney's Magical Express which is the complimentary transportation for guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resorts. But, Elizabeth, I promise you that Disney's cruise transfers are worth every penny for the ease that they create with the transition from land to sea and back again. Let Mickey's friends do the driving, and all you have to do is show up and board the motorcoach. They'll handle your luggage which will magically meet you in your stateroom later that day, while you sit back, relax, and take in some Disney trivia and classic Disney cartoons on your one hour ride to the port. It's a great start to an even more amazing vacation!

Give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call to add these transfers to your cruise reservation and you'll be all set, Elizabeth! Have fun planning, and please feel free to stop back again over this next month before you set sail. We're happy to help if you have any other questions!
