I'm a little confused on identification we have our passports do we need to bring anymore forms of identification. My child is 11 will I need to bring a copy of the b.c.? She is traveling with me and her stepdad is there a form that her dad needs to sign?

    Hello, Veronica!

For trips to Walt Disney World, as long as the adults in your party have photo I.D. while in the parks and resorts, I can't think of any other sort of identification we've ever needed. We travel to WDW frequently with our own children as well as with our children's friends and haven't needed any sort of ID for the kids or any forms to be signed by their parents, either. (We do have the parents of others' children write a note which allows us to seek medical care for their children, should it be necessary, but this wouldn't apply to your situation, since you already have authority to make medical decisions for your daughter.)

In fact, when I take about 400 high school seniors to WDW, they all bring their school ID if needed for security check-in at the airport; however, should they lose it or pack it, or simply don't have a photo ID (as some kids don't) no ID is necessary for those under 18.

Of course, if you have an agreement between you and your daughter's dad regarding permission to travel with her out of state, that is something you should bring with you for your own sake, but it is not something that anyone in WDW would ever ask you to provide.

Have a fabulous trip to Walt Disney World! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them! We love to help! :-)
