    Hi! I'm a little confused as to when I should make ADR. Do I make them 180 days in advance from my check in date? Or 180 days from the day I would like the reservation? Hoping for Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, and T-Rex. Thanks so much!

    Shannon,

    So you are asking a common question that leads to a lot of guest confusion. Let's clear this all up;

    You can make reservations starting 180 days before your check-in date. So let's say your vacation started on December 1, 2012. That means that you could make reservations starting on June 4th, 2012.

    Now if you are at a NON-DISNEY OWNED hotel, that means that you could make reservations for any meals on that arrival day, December 1. The next day (June 5th), you could call for reservations for December 2, and so on. Or you could wait a week or so and make all your reservations at once.

    BUT if you are staying at a DISNEY OWNED resort, then you get a nice perk. On that first calling day (June 4th), you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation. So let's say you were coming for 5 days, December 1 through December 6. You could make all your dining reservations on that first call for every day of your vacation. No need to call in every subsequent day.

    Does that make sense? If you have follow-up questions, don't hesitate to write me!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
