I'm a huge fan of the panel and I think all the "Moms" are fantastic. My question is at what age to you thinks kids are old enough to appreciate Disney Quest? We'll be travelling in 50 days with 6 year old twins? Do you think they're ready?

Oh, thanks, Nancy! We love to get feedback about the Moms Panel, and more importantly, we certainly enjoy answering guests' questions! Yours is a good one.  My family and I recently returned from WDW where we enjoyed a half day at DisneyQuest.  I have three boys -- ages 15, 9 and 6 -- and one daughter, age 12.  My boys tend to enjoy DisneyQuest more than my daughter does, and they enjoy it more and more as they get older.

Some games and attractions require a bit of reading and that frustrated my youngest child last year when he wasn't reading "ready." In addition, when he was younger, some of the virtual rides require wearing headgear which he wasn't too sure about, and he didn't like some of the attractions because of the effects or noise.  This year, he was a big boy...running around with the others like he knew exactly what to do and how to do everything.  The only attraction that he was not tall enough for was Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters.

Obviously, you know your children much better than anyone, and DisneyQuest is an investment of time and money.  Therefore, if any of those previously mentioned "hurdles" might effect your little ones, you might want to reconsider.  Otherwise, have a blast at DisneyQuest! Remember that it's usually least crowded when it first opens, and it's more likely to be crowded during less desirable weather.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
