hi im hoping to come to florida dec 2013 and was wanting to know the best place to stay for xmas and new year we have a 7 year old son that is disabled and cant walk far and he would love to be there for xmas thank you

Hi Sharon! There are a lot of great places to stay at Walt Disney World, but the Disney Deluxe Villas and Disney Deluxe Resorts are the most "magical" in my opinion, especially at Christmas! With a young child who can't walk far, I suggest staying in one of the Magic Kingom monorail resorts. That will give you very easy access to the Magic Kingdom; you will also have easy access to Epcot by changing monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Of the three Magic Kingdom monorail resorts, the Grand Floridian is the most decorated for Christmas, followed by the Contemporary (and the attached Bay Lake Tower), and finally the Polynesian. While December 2013 is a little off, remember to be sure to stop in Guest Services in the theme parks when you go to pick up a Guest Assistance Card (GAC). It will help you and your son to get around the theme parks easier! Enjoy planning, and write back when you have more questions!
