Hi Brooke! In just a few weeks you will be on your way to the Walt Disney World Resort. You must be beyond thrilled!
I have two
little ones of my own and must say - you are in for a treat as you watch your children's eyes light up as they see their favorite characters or experience the sights and sounds of an attraction like "it's a small world" or The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
My first piece of advice is enjoy the moment. When it was just me and my husband, we raced from attraction to attraction, conquering lines, eating snacks on-the-go, stopping only to dine at our favorite spots. Once we had kids, we realized they have a schedule and pace all their own! We bring their strollers, so we get around a bit faster (and it helps carry all of our stuff!), but sometimes they want to walk ... slowly ... and point out every flower and sit on every bench. And that's OK!
My next tip is to utilize the
Baby Care Centers found at each theme park. These locations are great for feeding your young kiddos, changing diapers/outfits, purchasing items you may have forgotten at home and just taking a little break.
Next, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. There is no cost for the app and it can make time in the park so much easier! You can make FastPass+ selections, check current wait times for attractions and order food at many Quick-Service locations ahead of time and skip the long lines.
I hope these tips help make your trip smooth and memorable! Enjoy your vacation!
