I'm headed to Typhoon Lagoon on October 12 with my 2 kids (8 and 12). Can you give me any advice on what would be good items to have, availability of lockers, etc? I'm trying to figure out the best way to carry passes and gift cards for food and drinks.

    Hi Charlotte!

My family and I have visited both water parks during the busiest times of the year and we have never had a problem getting a locker.  However, getting a lounge chair or two to call "home base" (to store towels, shoes, etc) has been problematic on the busiest days if we arrived much later than mid-morning.  I always recommend that guests try to arrive within the first hour that a water park is open if possible.

We usually bring a beach bag with sun tan lotion and towels.  We lock our valuables in a locker and just leave the beach bag with the sun tan lotion and towels on one or two chairs.  You really don't need much; I have been there before with nothing but my ticket and cash or a credit card.  You can lock those in a locker and rent a towel!

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions!
