I'm on a gluten-free diet, but I'm worried about being able to find gluten-free foods while I'm at Disney. Can you tell me if there are gluten-free options?

You are in luck because Walt Disney World makes is super easy and worry-free for those who are following a special diet. There are plenty of gluten-free options throughout the Walt Disney World parks and resorts.

You can email special.diets@disneyworld.com for a listing of the gluten-free options. You can inform them of your gluten-intolerance and they will advise you of the dining options available to you. Additionally, make sure to note on your Advanced Dining Reservation that you have a food allergy in your party. I also follow a special diet and I've always found the chefs at Walt Disney World to be extremely accommodating.

Some of my favorite gluten-free options include Babycakes in Downtown Disney, which offers dairy-free, gluten-free, egg-free and soy-free options. They even have refined-sugar free sweet treats!

Liberty Tree Tavern also has a wonderful option for their gluten-free meal. The chef will come out and speak to you (as with the other Disney restaraunts as well) and prepare a special gluten-free meal for you.

Yak and Yeti has gluten-free desserts.

A quick search on "gluten-free Disney World" will also offer up many guests personal experiences with their favorite gluten-free options in Disney, along with pictures, blog posts and more!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
