I'm getting ready to leave with my family on a cruise on the Fantasy in less than 2 weeks (yay!). My daughter was hoping to wear her princess dress one night - is there a night you recommend? Would it be appropriate for her to wear it on pirate night?

    Ahoy there, Katherine!

Your countdown to your magical voyage on the Disney Fantasy is down to the wire - and it sounds like your little princess is quite excited too! You should definitely pack your princess dress. Captain Mickey and all the other princesses on board will expect to see your little princess with all her bling. Pictures will be a must, I'm sure she will be in such great company when she walks through the atrium with all the other princesses in the evenings.

She is more than welcome to wear her princess dress once, twice or even three times! Your second night is usually a formal or 'dress up' night. A lot of little princesses come out, like they are ready for the ball on that evening. There is also a Prince & Princess themed night. That is another night when all the Princesses get glammed up. Since schedules tend to change every so often, you'll need to check the Personal Navigator every night to check the theme and the events for the following day. Prince & Princess themed nights and the Captain's Gala nights are usually Night 5 and 6 of a 7-night cruise. For Prince & Princess themed-night, all the Disney Princesses gather at the atrium in the evenings for pictures and autographs. The lines do form early, so make sure you check your personal navigator for schedules, so your little princess can say 'hello' to her favorite princesses on board.

Have a magical voyage and say 'Hello' to Captain Mickey for me!

    Bon voyage,
