Hi, I'm a DVC member with an AP - interested in purchasing the TIW card. I'm wondering if the TIW card would be a better value for my family of three (2 adutls/1 child 4) than the dining plan? We are visiting in March & May. Love the Mom Panel!

Hi Ann! The Tables in Wonderland card entitles you to 20% off food and beverage at participating dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort. An 18% gratuity is added to all table service transactions, regardless of your party size. The Disney Dining Plans offer your family the opportunity to pay a set  cost for your choice of meals by type (quick service/counter service, table service, character meals, snacks) per night of stay. Gratuity is not included except an 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more that is automatically added.

Our family enjoys Disney Vacation Club Villas and the full kitchen that is offered. Vacation is my opportunity to cook for my family. The Tables in Wonderland card allows us to save on meals while we are in the Parks, usually quick service/table service because I cook our dinners on most evenings. We have participated in the Disney DIning Plan for our travels to Walt Disney World Resort for our shorter trips when I was unable to cook. The Disney Dining Plan was very easy to use and met our family's needs. I think that you have to determine your family's needs and choose the option that would afford you the most savings.  Hope this helps.
