Hi - I'm due to come to Disney for the first time in May - there will be 3 adults and 2 children, 1 being 7 and the other 15 months. How do I fair when booking fast passes as all will what to do the rides - how do I manage with the baby?? Ta in advance

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna! I’m glad you’re hEAR planning your upcoming family vacation. My family has children around the same age; a big brother with a little sister who doesn’t quite measure up for many rides. We use Rider Switch Service to help spread out the fun!

Rider Switch Service is a complimentary service available when a member of a party isn’t tall enough (or doesn’t want to) ride an attraction. You can see details on how the service operates in my answer to another guest. Since you have 4 people using FP+ and Park Tickets (Babies age 2 and under enter the park for free!), you’ll be able to make 3 FP+ for 2 adults and your 7 year old while you wait with baby. The chaperones ride via the FP+ queue with a buddy as a compliment. When it’s time for another FP+ attraction, your chaperones can rotate, helping more folks share childcare and experience the attractions. Of course, many rides in the Parks have no height requirement, like Frozen Ever After, Navi River Journey, Peter Pan’s Flight, It’s a Small World and more. Baby can come right along with you in the standby or FP+ line since they do not need a ticket or MagicBand.

If I can make travel with your preschooler easier or give you tips for vacationing with littles at Walt Disney World Resort, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
