Hi, I´m going to Disney with a 2.5 year old and a 1.5 year old, do you recommend two single strollers, or one double?

    Hi Astrid!

As the mom to two little ones who are pretty close in age, we have pushed strollers for many miles around the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, with both of our little ones needing to rest their legs in a stroller. We have used both single and double strollers for our trips and there are pros and cons to both, keeping in mind that strollers cannot be larger than 36" x 52" (92 x 132 cm). Here are my thoughts:

    Single Strollers:
Bringing two single strollers gives you the definite advantage of allowing your kids to be pushed separately. This works great for when your party needs to split up to do things separately or to give your little ones some space. Plus, since your strollers are smaller, it is significantly easier to navigate through tight spaces. Specifically, I have found some shops can be a bit tight for double strollers.

    Double Strollers:
We like bringing our double stroller because one person can be in charge of both kids while they are in their stroller. This is a HUGE advantage when you are using the Rider Switch Service! Plus, when we brought two strollers, my little ones often had disagreements about who pushed their stroller and this isn't a problem when we have our double stroller. Finally, if you will be using complimentary resort transportation, while a double stroller is larger, we have found it is easier to navigate on buses. We put one adult in charge of the stroller while the other adult can be in charge of getting the little ones on and off the bus.

While both options work well, our family's preference now is to use a double stroller. Overall though, since there are advantages and disadvantages for both, I would recommend that you bring the stroller that is the most comfortable for your family. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
