Hi! So I'm going to Disney World in May with three close friends. I'm 17, and my friends will be 17, 18, and 20. Since we are clearly not the common clientele at Disney World any tips when it comes to having fun with characters?

Hi Melissa, thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney's original vision of Disneyland was a park were people of all ages could enjoy themselves together. One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is that Walt's vision still rings true today. At Disney parks, people of all ages can find something fun to do, and once you arrive I think you'll see that there are no 'common clientele' at Walt Disney World.

Something that I think you and your friends might enjoy is Disney-bounding. Pick a favorite character, take their color palette, and rummage through your closet to throw together an awesome, character-inspired outfit. You can then go to your character's meet and greet and take a photo. If you need examples of outfits, simply google 'Disney bound.' My fellow Moms Panelist Emily V. and I love Disney-bounding.

Allow me to suggest some other fun experiences that you and your group of friends might enjoy:

*Walt Disney World has some great opportunities for shopping. One of my favorite things to do is look at the new Disney Dooney & Bourke bag collection. There is also an Alex & Ani Disney collection. You could all get matching bangles to celebrate your friendship and to be reminded of memories from your vacation together.

*What is better than getting a mani-pedi with your best friends? The Senses Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the perfect place to relax and be pampered.

*Visit Gaston near his Tavern. The Magic Kingdom's most eligible bachelor is sure to provide entertainment and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to flex his muscles a bit for you.

*Stop by Goofy's Candy Company or The Main Street Bakery for a sweet treat.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to stop by and we'd be happy to help. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
