I’m going to be in the Disney world area in November and was wondering is there anyway I can purchase disney balloons at the gates of magic kingdom to take home?im looking to purchase 20 balloons and if the cost is 10 each? I get mixed prices from everyone

    Welcome BACK, Myrna!

I don't know what it is, but there is just something so magical about a Mickey Mouse shaped balloon. I remember these souvinEARs from my childhood, and now my three-year-old loves them just as much as I still do. Disney even released a popcorn bucket that looks like these floating icons that I very badly want to use as a purse.

Balloons are usually sold by roaming vendors who walk the parks on foot, so the only way to tell where they'll be is to look up. The entrance to Magic Kingdom Park is removed quite a bit from the main hustle and bustle of Main Street U.S.A., which is where you'll usually find your first balloon bunch. Balloon vendors don't make their way to the entrance turnstile area because of the Walt Disney World Railroad; this rail line is elevated, meaning guests need to pass through a tunnel to get from the entrance to Main Street U.S.A. These tunnels are not very tall and can become very crowded, which would be too much for a bevy of balloons.

However, I personally purchased an iconic Mickey Balloon near the Town Hall area of Disney Springs this past March. Balloons currently range in price between $9 and $15, depending if you'd like a colorful balloon or a white one that lights up. Pro Tip: Bring cash. There is a way to purchase balloons with a card, but it will require that you pay at another location and bring a receipt to the balloon person.

Bonus Tips: I've also purchased blank mouse ear latex balloons online before, and had them filled at a local grocery store. And hEAR's a behind the scenes video of this inflated fun!

    I hope this helped, Myrna!
