Ahoy, Andrea!
You are less than two weeks away from hearing the magical words, "Welcome Aboard!" I'm sure you've been DREAMing of your
Bahamian vacation, and it will soon be a reality. It sounds like you've selected
Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation for your land to sea transition. Excellent choice, Andrea! You'll be so glad to let Disney Cruise Line take care of all your travel details once you arrive at the Orlando International Airport including your luggage. You'll want to place the luggage tags you received in the mail on all your bags before having them checked at your home airport. They will be collected by a Disney Cruise Line representative and delivered directly to your stateroom later on in the afternoon. As long as you are arriving the day of your cruise, your bags will be taken care of at baggage claim. Be sure to keep any medications, documents and passport/birth certificate with you in your carry-on luggage.
Andrea, Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation is located on Side B, Level 1, which is also the home for Disney's Magical Express. You'll see Disney Cruise Line representatives ready to assist you once you make your way to the designated area. The motor coach buses begin running around 9:00 a.m. and will continue through the early afternoon. The route to the port takes about 45 minutes to an hour, and you'll be entertained along the way!
Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We hope you have a "DREAM"y time on your vacation with Captain Mickey. If you think of anything else, come back to "sea" us!
