Hello! I'm a disabled veteran 100%, permanent & total. What type of discount is provided, if any to the parks, resort hotels and campgrounds. Thank you

Hello, Valerie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

First of all, thank you for your service. As the wife of an Air Force veteran, I am especially grateful. Walt Disney World Resort does offer discounts for active and retired members of the U.S. Military through its Military Promotional Tickets, discounted Memory Maker and discounts on select Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms on select nights. To redeem any of these offers, just present your valid U.S. Military photo ID at any Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park ticket window or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs; to check for hotel availability and book a room using the Military discount, you will need to call (407) 939-7825. You may also be able to order your Military Promotional Tickets through your local base’s MWR office or in person or via email through the Shades of Green ticket office.

If you have not officially retired from military service and have a DD-214 in lieu of a valid U.S. Military photo ID, you may still be eligible to stay at Shades of Green during January or September as a part of their “Salute to our Veterans” program. Shades of Green is the only Walt Disney World Resort hotel that is reserved for the exclusive use of members of the U.S. Military and their families. It’s my family’s home away from home when we visit Walt Disney World Resort!

If you have any other questions about the Military discounts provided at Walt Disney World Resort, please don’t hesitate to come back and ask. We’re always happy to help.

We hope to see you real soon!
