I’m currently booked for a Disney Hollywood studios after hours event & plan on being in HS prior to the event with park hoppers. The same night the Star Wars dessert party is available & is it possible to do both or would that rush the party?

    Hi Taylor,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I’m a big fan of all the Disney After Hours events that are taking place around Walt Disney World Resort on select nights, and I’m thrilled to hear that you’ll be attending Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during your upcoming visit.

If you’re already planning to be visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios the day of your After Hours event, I actually think that Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios would be a great day to ‘bridge” the gap between the Park’s regular hours and After Hours for you.

The dessert party is offered during regular park hours, so it’s not as though you’re losing precious moments when you have the park to yourself. Plus, the wait times at most attractions are typically much lower during the After Hours events, especially in the later hours, so you won’t be missing anything on that front, either. In fact, the only “downside” I can see is that you might not be able to enjoy as many Mickey Bars and buckets of popcorn (all included with your Special Event Ticket) because you might still be too stuffed from your Star Wars treats!

I hope my answer helps you plan an out-of-this-world day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
