I’m considering a VIP tour on my next visit. This tour say it includes special reserved areas for parades and firework. Where’s the VIP area be for Happily Ever After fireworks? Is it on the garden terrace with the dessert party or different area?

    Hi Melanie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. A few years ago, I was surprised with an amazing day with a VIP Tour Guide at Walt Disney World Resort, and it was one of the most magical Disney days I’ve spent. I will forever be grateful to my very special fairy godfamily who gave this generous gift, and we made forever memories during our epic day together. Best day EVER!

While we didn’t view fireworks with our guide, she did share with us that the Happily Ever After viewing location for those with Private VIP Tour Guides is a roped-off spot in the hub area, with a center view of Cinderella Castle. It’s not an area that’s shared with the Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party Guests, though the area is shared by the families with VIP Tour Guides. If you’d like to confirm that this is the current viewing location, I recommend calling Disney Signature Services at (407) 939-7777. They’ll be delighted to answer any questions you might have about this pixie-dusted experience.

Melanie, my family just adored our VIP Tour Guide – it was hard to say goodbye to her at the end of the day! Not only did we get FastPass+ access for our favorite attractions, but our Guide shared so many great stories, fun facts, and Disney details. She rode with us on a number of attractions and pointed out special details and gave us some tips we still use on our Disney trips. She even parked our stroller for us! We truly felt like royalty all day.

Our Guide made extra magic happen for us a couple of times during our day together. My son is Queen Elsa’s number one fan, and when we had our tour, she was still extremely difficult to meet. Our Guide set up an appointment with the Queen, and we were able to enter through a special entrance for our time with Elsa. It was such a special moment! The other amazing moment we had was viewing the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade from the VIP viewing area in the Main Street Train Station. I’ll admit that our family wasn’t sure about this – we thought attractions were a better use of our time with our guide. However, she told us “you don’t want to miss this, trust me.” So, with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust we went with her advice and let me tell you: that viewing area is AMAZING. We had some treats (and some magical Starbucks) and settled in for what we soon realized was the perfect view of the parade. The elevated viewing area meant we were eye-to-eye with our favorite characters – Pluto blew my daughter a kiss from his float! So, so special.

Melanie, my advice is that a VIP Tour is an absolutely unforgettable experience, filled with pixie dust and wonderful moments. I hope you go for it – let the magic begin!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
