I'm confused. I saw ? answered by Kimberly that said you can get your boarding passes at the hotel if you are flying Southwest, but on the Magical Express FAQ Southwest isn't listed? Flying SW in Dec, if so does it include bags too?

First, separate Disney's Magical Express from Resort Airline Check In.

Wherever I've traveled in the U.S., I've been able to have my boarding passes printed at the hotel's front desk.

What is the difference between DME and Resort Airline Check In (RAC)?

    DME Arrival:
Provides luggage transfer to your hotel from Orlando International Airport
Provides transportation for guests from OIA to their WDW resort (may bring luggage on bus if you do not want it transferred)

    DME Departure:
Provides transportation for WDW guests from their resort to OIA
Allows guests to bring luggage on the bus

    RAC:
Available upon departure from a WDW resort
Available if flying on a participating airline
    Will print boarding passes
Will check luggage (similar to airport curbside service)

    RAC is independent from DME.

When flying Southwest which is not a participating airline, you will have all of the same services upon arrival. At departure, you will be unable to use the RAC.

Have your boarding passes printed at the Front Desk 24 hours before your flight time in order to secure an A boarding pass.

When you depart, store your bags with Bell Services if you are not leaving immediately. Otherwise, you'll head to the DME bus stop (along with your luggage) at your appointed time. Once at the airport, you will need to Check In your bags.

So, just remember that for Arrivals, all procedures are the same no matter what airline you are flying. For departures, all WDW guests can use DME but only those on a participating airline can use the RAC desk.

The Hotel Front Desk can print boarding passes, but you'll be responsible for the transfer of your own luggage for a departing Southwest flight.
