Hello Johnetta, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.
Did you know that there are more pictures taken at the Walt Disney World Resort than any other landmark on the planet? If you are like me, you will want to capture as many magical moments as possible during your upcoming trip.
Disney’s PhotoPass Service uses their team of talented photographers who are located near some of the most iconic landmarks at Disney theme parks. They allow everyone in your family to get in the picture so no one is left behind the camera. You will also find them at most Character meet and greet experiences too. After they take your picture, they will scan your MagicBand or card to upload the photos to your My Disney Experience account. You will also find several rides and attractions that capture onboard photos and videos.
Memory Maker is a digital service that allows you to crop and edit your photos by adding cool borders and stickers to them. The purchase of Memory Maker allows you to have unlimited downloads of all of the photos taken during your entire vacation. I never visit the Walt Disney World Resort without purchasing Memory Maker. When you can purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days in advance, it currently costs $169. If you choose to purchase after you arrive you will pay the regular price. If you decided to just purchase a 5x7 or 8x10 they would each cost $18.95 plus tax. Keep in mind that prices are subject to change, but at today’s prices you would individually purchase 8 photos for the cost of a Memory Maker. In my opinion, it is work every penny. Be sure to download and share your photos with friends and family, they will expire 45 days after they were taken.
Say cheese,
Andrea
