I'm confused about the fastpass+ - I won't receive a magic band because I don't live in the U.S., I also booked less than 60 days in advance. Can I still customize the fast pass after I arrive? And what's the benefit of customizing?

    Hi Elaine,

Customizing your band simply means that you choose a fancy color and have your name imprinted on the inside of the band. That's the only difference between a custom band and one received on site. If you don't have a customized band, you will be given a basic grey band when you arrive at your resort.

Canadian guests can get colorful customized MagicBands, they just won't be mailed to your home. Instead you can pick them up at the front desk of your hotel as you check in. There is a cutoff window to customization. Again, if you don't make the cutoff, you'll be given a grey band when you arrive.

Getting your FastPass+ reservations doesn't really have anything to do with having a customized MagicBand. While you enter the FP+ queues in the park using your band, the FP+ reservations can be made and changed again (and again) on a computer, your smartphone, a portable tablet, or at an in-park kiosk. Us the MyDisneyExperience app or portal on the website to make FP+ reservations or changes. When I was at the parks last weekend, I made and changed FP+ reservations on my phone several times every day, even moments before riding an attraction.

Good luck with your planning. I'm happy to help if you have additional questions, just let me know what you need.
