I'm coming to WDW in a month and am after advice on how to make the most out of one day at WDW (with 2 kids - ages 3 and 5). I haven't been to Disney in 15 years and it seems SO much has changed. What do I need to organise in advance? ! Thanks!

Hi, Beth! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time in forever! In my opinion, the best thing you can do to make the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to plan ahead. If you can settle on some plans prior to your visit, it allows you to sit back and just enjoy the magic once you arrive.

There are some great Disney vacation planning tools online that I suggest you start with. You can explore the Walt Disney World website with your family to determine what everyone's must-dos are. You are also going to want to download the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Next, I would suggest that you make dining reservations for any table-service meals that you would like to experience. Dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance and are strongly recommended. A character dining experience is a great way to visit with some of your Disney pals when you're trying to make the most out of your time.

Your next step will be to make your FastPass+ selections to reserve a time for some attractions in advance. Your FastPass+ selections can be made 60 days prior to your arrival if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or 30 days in advance if you are staying elsewhere.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. See ya real soon!
