Hello I'm coming to Disney World Oct 12-18 and was wondering if the mnsshp is held on Sundays? Also does the pirate and pals fireworks cruise run the same night's as the party? I'm just trying to figure some of this since i can start my meal reservations.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Brandi ~

I love that you are planning ahead for October because it will be here before you know it! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom. They have not announced the 2014 dates at this time; however the past two years I attended MNSSHP on a Sunday evening so there is a strong possibility that they will offer it on Sundays this year as well.

Last year, tickets went on sale for the 2013 MNSSHP dates on May 1, 2013. Keep watch on the link above and on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement. If you're on twitter, be sure to follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. You can also keep your eyes on the official Walt Disney World Facebook page.

The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage sails (weather permitting) Friday - Monday and does indeed sail on evenings when there are special events at the Magic Kingdom like MNSSHP and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Instead of Wishes, you will see the special fireworks presentations that are performed during those events.

You can make reservations to set sail on the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage beginning 180 days prior to your trip by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. It is an awesome way to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.
