Hello, Im choosing my fastpass options and I want to know why there is fast pass for the show ilumination in Epcot. Is there a special place that you can watch the show?

    Hi Monica!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is an awesome fireworks show held nightly on World Showcase Lagoon in Epcot. The show celebrates the spirit of humanity and the rich history of Planet Earth. It's absolutely beautiful and deeply moving for many guests.

While you can view the show anywhere throughout Epcot that has a clear view of the World Showcase Lagoon, a FastPass+ reservation for Illuminations guarantees you a practically perfect view of the show. The area reserved for FastPass+ viewing is in World Showcase Plaza, between the Tower Gift Shops. Not only will you have reserved spot, but you'll also have easy access to the park exit once the show has ended. It's a win-win! You also won't have to arrive early and stake out a spot before the show begins.

That being said, you may have other busy attractions where you'd rather use your FastPass+ reservations. (Soarin', anyone?) It's completely up to you, and how you choose to plan your day. No worries if you don't have a FastPass+ for Illuminations - there are lots and lots of great spots to see the show around the lagoon.

I hope this helps answer your question. Please let us know if you have any other planning questions we can help you with! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
