I'm going to buy my park tickets this month but won't be getting to Disneyworld until Jan 2017--will they still be good?

    Hi Valerie,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Yes, if you buy your Walt Disney World theme park tickets now, as long as you do not start using them at a Disney theme park, they will remain valid. When you use the tickets for the first time to enter a Disney theme park is when the clock starts ticking on the time until they expire. Purchasing theme park tickets this far ahead is actually a great way to spread out the cost of your vacation. You can even buy one ticket at a time per member of your traveling party to spread this out even further. I do suggest that you be sure to link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. This will allow you to keep all of your Walt Disney World travel information, including your resort and dining reservations, in one place. You will also use this account to make your Disney FastPass+ selections when you get closer to your vacation.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Valerie. Have a wonderful time planning your Walt Disney World vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions!
