I'm bringing my 2 month old with us to Disney and I'm a breastfeeding mom. Are there any places around Magic Kingdom that a specific for nursing purposes?

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question!

You will be very happy to hEAR that the Walt Disney World Resort is breastfeeding-friendly! Therefore, you many nurse your infant child freely throughout the Resort. However, you'll also find convenient Baby Care Centers at the 4 Disney theme parks.

For mothers looking for a more private and relaxing setting, Baby Care Centers offer dimly lit rooms with rocking chairs "For Nursing Mothers Only". These nursing rooms provide a much more relaxing atmosphere to nurse young Mouseketeers, than trying to do it amidst the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. Not only that, but you'll be nursing in air-conditioned comfort!

At Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, the nursing rooms are semi-private and have rocking chairs that can accommodate up to four mothers at one time. At Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the nursing rooms are completely private and can only accommodate one nursing mom at a time. If you need to use a breast pump, you'll also find that electrical outlets are available there for your convenience.

Since you specifically asked about Magic Kingdom Park, I can tell you that the Baby Care Center there is located near The Crystal Palace restaurant. You can find the locations of all the Baby Care Centers via the My Disney Experience mobile app too.

Please come back soon with more questions, Jamie. We'll be glad to spread a little pixie dust on all your Disney vacation plans. That's the Power of Magic!

Wishing you a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
