I'm bringing my daughter to Disney in April, do i need to bring her birth certificate to show her age if shes under 3?

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation will be here before you know it, won't it be nice to get out of the cold?  We have visited Walt Disney World Resort several times prior to my daughter turning three, as well as just after she turned three and I was never asked for documentation regarding her age.  My daughter was quite tall for her age and had a very developed vocabulary, so I was worried about the same thing.  Being Canadian, we had our passports so this was never an issue because we could always head back to our room if need be. You may find that Cast Members will ask her age (usually at dining locations) mostly for billing purposes, but I can't imagine they will want to see proof of her age.  If you will feel better bringing her birth certificate, I would recommend making a copy of it and keeping it in your Resort room safe, just in case.  I truly don't think bringing her birth certificate is necessary, we have never been asked to see our daughter's nor has anyone I know either.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort this April Heather.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
