I'm breaking our WDW trip into two back-to-back reservations (with dining plans) so we can enjoy two hotels! The day we switch rooms, can I finish off the credits from the 1st plan and dip into the credits from the 2nd dining plan? Or do I lose the unused?

Hi, Camillia!  On the day that you check out from your first reservation, the dining plan credits from that stay will be good through midnight.  When you check into your second reservation, you will get all of your dining credits from that reservation.  You will be able to decide which credits to use first - although obviously, it's better to use the older ones first, as they will expire.

One thing you won't be able to do, however, is combine the credits.  For example if you wanted to eat at a signature dining location requiring two credits, you wouldn't be able to use one credit from your first stay and another credit from the second stay.

I hope this helps you make the most of your dining credits!
