Hi! I’m about to book park tickets, and was wondering if we can upgrade (and pay the difference) to park hopper after booking if we change our mind soon, or if we have to do it before? Thank you! Lauren

    Hi Lauren,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Congratulations on deciding to visit Walt Disney World Resort, you are going to have a wonderful time creating memories that will last a lifetime!

When purchasing your Theme Park Tickets, you will be able to upgrade your One Theme Park Per Day Ticket when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.  As long as you have one day left on your Theme Park Tickets, the Cast Member will be able to help add the Park Hopper Option to your Theme Park Tickets. To do this, all you need to do is visit any Guest Relations at Walt Disney World Resort.  My family and I like the Park Hopper option because it gives us the flexibility to enjoy one Theme Park in the morning, enjoy dinner and then end our day in another Theme Park, we like being able to change our plans if needed and switch Theme Parks if we feel we need more time somewhere else.

Once your Theme Park Tickets are linked in My Disney Experience, regardless if you have the Park Hopper Option, don't forget to make your FastPass+ Selections either 60 days in advance if you are staying at select Walt Disney World Resorts, or 30 days in advance if you are staying off property.  This service is a great way to make sure you enjoy your top three attractions per day at each Theme Park.  The Park Hopper option will not affect your selections, since you are currently able to select three FastPass+ Selections per day in the same Theme Park.

I hope you have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World Resort, Lauren.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
