    David Asked

I'm from Australia not traveling till 20th of December 2019 if I buy my annual pass now when will it start?

    Hi David,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

I’m an International Guest who is an Annual Passholder, too… although I certainly don’t have to travel as far as you do to get to Central Florida! I just purchased a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass for my upcoming visit and, although I can use it right now to make my FastPass+ selections, I can’t use it to enter a Theme Park until it has been activated.

It’s only once the Annual Pass has been activated (at Guest Relations at any Theme Park or Disney Springs) that your year of Theme Park admission (and other entitlements) are active. That means that, if you choose to buy your Annual Pass now, but that you’ll only use it to enter a Theme Park in December, your pass will be valid for a year after that first use, so until December 2020.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
