I'm an AP holder and am getting ready to renew my pass. If I renew it before my expiration date, will the 12 months start from the date of renewal or from my existing expiration date?

    Hello, Justin!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question about your Disneyland Resort Annual Passport. I hope you’ve been enjoying a magical year at the Happiest Place on Earth thanks to your pass! There are so many wonderful benefits for Passholders to enhance your theme park visits.

Annual Passports are valid for a full year, so you are able to use it up to and including the day it expires. Your Annual Passport is eligible for renewal up to 40 days before your expiration date, but you won’t lose any days by renewing early because your new expiration date will still be 12 full months from the existing one.

If you want to verify your expiration date or view the details of your Annual Passport, you can sign in or create an account on disneyland.com and then visit Annual Passholders Today. If you do not see your pass, select “Add a Pass to My Account” and follow the instructions given.

I hope this helps, Justin, and that you’re able to plan another pixie-dusted visit very soon! Please write back with any other Disneyland Resort questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
