Kids on attraction

I'm going alone with my 7 y old twins. Can we use rider switch service to travel with one kid at a time? Is there a waiting area for the other kid? Many attractions are 2-people ride and we can't leave one of the kids alone Tks!

Welcome, Marina! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question!

To use Rider Switch, one adult must wait with the non-rider child (or children) while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. Since you will be traveling alone with the twins, you won't be able to leave one child in a waiting area while riding with the other. However, most 7-year-olds will be tall enough to ride the vast number of attractions at Walt Disney World Resort. Furthermore, let me reassure you that there are relatively few attractions that only accommodate two people in a row. Many ride vehicles for attractions, such as, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, should easily accommodate you and the twins together. Others, such as, "it's a small world", offer bench type seating which will allow the three of you to sit next to each other. For rides such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, you might consider letting your twins ride in their own vehicle while you ride in the one directly behind them.

If you wish to experience thrill rides that the twins can't yet enjoy, then consider using Kid's Nite Out. This is a Childcare Services agency that helps Guests in your situation. Their highly trained care providers will lend a helping hand with In-Park Assistance, accompanying you and your twins to the theme parks. If you wish to have the same care worker escort your family to the parks for the duration of the trip, be sure to note this request when making the reservation. To learn more about their services, peek at their website www.kidsniteout.com, or contact Kid's Nite Out directly by calling (407) 828-0920 between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week.

I hope you found this information useful, Marina. Please come back soon with more Disney vacation planning questions.

Wishing you a most memorable visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
