I'll be in WDW with my mom and 16 yr. son from Feb 2 to 6th. Every yr on Feb. 2nd my mom and I have a special day in memory of my grandmother who passed away. Can you suggest a special restaurant that we may have dinner and be able to see the fireworks?

    Hi Irene,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother passing but I love the tradition that you and your mom have to honor her.

I can think of no better restaurant than the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Hotel. This restaurant has amazing views of Magic Kingdom. It also pipes in the music of the fireworks so you feel like you are in Magic Kingdom. You can walk out on the balcony to view them as well. The really cool thing is that the cast plans your meal around the fireworks so dinners do not go cold and coffee stays hot.

This restaurant has some of the freshest flavors in Disney World. My children love eating here and have even talked to the pastry chef who was preparing deserts. If you appreciate fine wines, this wine cellar is amazing as well.

I recommend a seating time about hour before fireworks. You can call 407-WDW-DINE to make your reservation or book online.

I wish you a magical vacation!
