I'll be visiting during the last full week of August. I know that crowd levels are generally smaller than other parts of summer, but I'm wondering what types of wait times we may see, like whether we should expect 30+ min waits for most rides.

    Hi Darlene,

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the last week in August is one of my favorite times to go. With most schools back in session, you will see a reduction in wait times for rides. When the legacy FastPass system was in place, some rides did not even use it as an option because the park was quiet.

You are looking at about the 30 minute mark for most rides. There will be rides that will be longer such as Toy Story Midway Mania and Soarin'. However, the rest will be manageable. You should still make FastPass+ reservations for the afternoon so you are not standing in the August heat.

The crowds will pick up as you get closer to Labor Day.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
